Relocated traction power, communication, signal, control, and battery cables from their current underground locations to a new elevated steel truss system

The elevated steel truss system spans more than 4,500’ and supports more than 150,000’ of conduit and 375,000’ of cables for the various systems throughout the complex

Installed a negative buss duct system along the entire 4,500’ steel truss system
-
Replaced existing signal equipment with new submersible signal equipment and installed approximately 25,000’ of messenger cable to support communication, signal, and traction power cabling systems

Relocated cabling and equipment along the perimeter for the construction of the flood wall

Replaced underground traction power, communication, and signal duct banks and cables, along with reinforcement of maintenance holes

Rehabilitated lighting, heating, and sump pump control systems in four circuit breaker houses

Installation of a Signal PLC system between Coney Island Yard master tower and Stillwell terminal relay room, along with the migration of nearly 1,000 signal indications and functions
