Transit Wireless UPS Upgrades are Complete!

The Transit Wireless UPS Upgrades are now complete! This system provides wireless coverage across all four major boroughs at 281 subway stations.

The project included removing and replacing 309 UPS units that required upgrades, replacing 1,206 batteries that met their end-of-life cycle, and replacing 2,129 WAGO blocks to improve the reliability and safety of the electrical connections.
